Regina Stoops is a comedian, award-winning storyteller, producer, and writer who uses comedy as her therapy to tackle whatever adversity and suburban chaos comes her way. With thought-provoking honesty and humor, Regina entertains with tales about the hurdles, detours, and lessons learned along life’s path. Her stories have been heard on the Risk! Podcast, The Moth, and Story Borealis on NPR. You may have seen her on stage at Cobb’s Comedy Club, Tommy T’s, The Luther Burbank Center, or The Bankhead Theater. Or you may have seen her in the school drop-off line, where she is happy to tell you the proper way to jettison your kid.

In previous years, Tri-Valley Haven’s annual gala has focused on critical projects like rebuilding our shelter to provide a safe haven for those in need. This year, we’re expanding our impact! The proceeds from the Wings of Hope: Transforming Lives Gala will support all of Tri-Valley Haven’s services, ensuring we can continue offering vital assistance to survivors, families, and individuals in our community.

From food security at our pantry to counseling and legal advocacy, your generosity will uplift and transform lives across all our programs. Join us for an inspiring evening filled with purpose, community, and hope as we come together to make a difference.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE GALA?

  • The Tri-Valley Haven Annual Gala is a special evening dedicated to celebrating our mission, honoring the resilience of survivors, and recognizing the community’s role in creating a world free from violence and poverty. This event brings together supporters, partners, and advocates to raise awareness and vital funds for our programs.

WHAT DO THE PROCEEDS OF THE GALA BENEFIT?

  • In past years, the gala focused on rebuilding our shelter. This year, proceeds will support all of Tri-Valley Haven’s vital services, including our shelters, food pantry, counseling, legal advocacy, and prevention programs—helping us continue to provide safety, healing, and hope to those in need.

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE GALA?

  • Wings of Hope: Transforming Lives Gala will take place on Friday, April 25th, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at Robert Livermore Community Center: 444 East Avenue Livermore, CA 94550.

WHAT IS THE TICKET COST?

  • Tickets are currently priced at $110 per person and a table for a group of 8 at $880.
  • Early Bird Discount Prices will end on March 7th.

CAN I CHOOSE WITH WHOM I WOULD LIKE TO SIT?

  • If you would like to sit with other individuals who is also attending, please include this request when completing your invitation online, or send an e-mail to development@trivalleyhaven.org

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

  • The dress code is semi-formal. We encourage guests to dress elegantly yet comfortably for an evening of celebration.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

  • Parking is included: Parking is available in front of the building as well as in the back parking lot on Loyola Road.

    WHAT ARE THE DINNER OPTIONS?

    • Dinner food options are as follows: braised short rib, salmon, or vegetarian/vegan.

    WHAT TYPE OF DRINKS/BEVERAGES WILL BE SERVED?

    • Drinks offered: Red wine, white wine, iced tea fruit infused water, coffee.
