Healthy Relationships Workshop for Teens

Tri-Valley Haven invites teens to join us for a safe, supportive, and engaging space to connect, learn, and grow. Our Healthy Relationships Workshop meets on the 1st and 2nd Saturday of every month from 12:00–2:00 PM at 450 N Livermore Ave, Livermore, CA (parking available on-site).

This free program offers:

  • Opportunities to make new friends and connect with other teens

  • Fun chances to win gift cards and prizes

  • Free snacks at every session

  • Meaningful conversations about healthy relationships, consent, boundaries, good communication, and more

Workshops are facilitated in a respectful, inclusive environment where teens are encouraged to share their perspectives, ask questions, and explore important topics that impact their everyday lives.

School Prevention Services

At Tri-Valley Haven, we provide students with the knowledge and skills to build healthy relationships and prevent violence. Our interactive, age-appropriate presentations engage students, helping them recognize harmful behaviors and develop essential skills for navigating relationships.

Middle School (6th - 8th Grade)

Our presentations help younger students understand friendships and relationships while developing communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Topics We Cover:

    •  Different types of relationships (friends, family, romantic, etc.)
    • Recognizing unhealthy healthy traits in relationships
    • Understanding and addressing bullying
    • Effective communication styles (aggressive assertive)
    • Setting boundaries and practicing consent
    • Bystander intervention and listening skills
    • Resolving conflicts and practicing empathy
    • Developing self-care routines and positive self-talk

High School (9th - 12th grade)
Healthy Relationships
This interactive presentation helps students recognize unhealthy relationship patterns, understand the cycle of violence, and develop healthy communication skills.

Early Stages of Human Trafficking: Grooming & Online Safety
This session raises awareness of human trafficking, teaching students how to recognize signs, stay safe, and seek help. We approach this sensitive topic with care, incorporating check-ins to support student well-being.

  • Vulnerabilities/Risk factors
