Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Domestic Violence Services provides overall management of the domestic violence shelters, the crisis line, the domestic violence supportive housing programs, Tri-Valley Haven’s transitional home, and restraining order clinic. Leads weekly departmental staff meetings. Responsible for oversight of facilities. Assures contract compliance and performance. Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, evaluating and terminating departmental staff. Initiate programs and funding. Part of the Tri-Valley Haven Management Team.
Under the direction of the Facilities Coordinator, the Maintenance Technician ensures all Haven facilities are safe, clean, and in good working conditions. This role involves performing repairs, maintenance, and yard upkeep, while working with local agencies to maintain compliance with state and local regulations.
Under the direct supervision of the Lead Sexual Assault Services Advocate, the Sexual Assault Advocate will provide crisis counseling and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault, human sexual trafficking and crisis counseling to incarcerated survivors. They will co-facilitate sexual assault support groups through psychoeducation and art within the jail and/ or prison facilities and meet all OES-SA contract requirements. This employee coordinates and facilitates community education (bringing awareness about Tri-Valley Haven’s services) and prevention education (healthy relationship, anti-trafficking, and affirmative consent classes) at local schools.
Under the direct supervision of the SART Manager, the SA Advocate for the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) will respond to SART calls, in the agency’s service area, to serve survivors of sexual assault and human sexual trafficking. The SA advocate will answer the crisis hotline regularly and work two evening shifts per week.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Sexual Assault Services, the SART Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of sexual assault response and intervention at Tri-Valley Haven’s Rape Crisis Center. The SART manager will also be responsible for responding to SART calls within the agency’s service area. The SART manager will conduct training and outreach to the law enforcement, victim witness programs and medical agencies within the service area. This position also supervises the SA (SART) advocate.
Under the supervision of the Lead PREA Advocate, the Sexual Assault Advocate for the PREA program (Prison Rape Elimination Act) will provide crisis counseling and advocacy to incarcerated survivors within Santa Rita Jail in accordance with OES-SA requirements. Also coordinates and co-facilitates sexual assault support groups and art groups within jail and/or prison facilities.
